Uses the IMPACT Sales Process to meet annual sales and profitability objectives.
Makes sales presentations to owners, roofing consultants, contractors and architects throughout assigned territory; maintains key relationships, and negotiates and closes deals.
Works with the Regional Manager to review market conditions and determine customer needs, price schedules, and returns and allowances. Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares and expedites sales orders.
Provides monthly sales forecasts and weekly activity reports.
Uses the Technical Representative Department resources effectively by planning and coordinating job requirements and communicating to tech reps and customers on a timely basis.
Develops reliable, timely sales forecasts.
Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product.
Analyzes and controls expenditures of area to conform to budgetary requirements.
Provides market intelligence on new products and current product modifications to research and development.
Assists in coordinating the annual customer service survey and provides and uses feedback to improve individual results.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with ten years related experience in the roofing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
