Project Scope and Goals:

Sprung aimed to demonstrate how their advanced tensioned membrane building solutions, coupled with their speed of construction, meet the increased marketplace demand. Additionally, the facility would serve as a live demonstration site, showcasing the cutting-edge technology and innovative finishing details integrated into Sprung structures. Shelter-Rite’s architectural fabrics in assorted and custom colors were chosen for their durability, weather resistance, and aesthetic flexibility. The Tedlar® PVF Film makes it the most UV-resistant fabric and the material can last 20+ years in high-UV, intense sun environments.

The Story:

The fully insulated facility integrates the exceptional properties of Shelter-Rite’s architectural fabric along with Sprung’s latest design innovations. These include vibrant exterior colors, enhanced peak heights, custom daylight panels, and glazing walls that maximize natural light, ensuring optimal acoustics and creating a spacious, inviting atmosphere. Combined with the premium exterior PVF film, this fabric structure will maintain longevity both aesthetically and physically.

A multimillion-dollar investment facilitated optimizing office and factory spaces, improving workflow and production efficiency. State-of-the-art equipment has been integrated into the design and build of the facility.

Future Readiness:

Designed with modularity in mind, Sprung’s refreshed Utah facility can currently accommodate up to two million square feet of inventory. Its flexible, easily adaptable design will allow for seamless future expansions.
