Chairman, AstenJohnson

Mr. Bill Finn joined the Seaman Corporation Board in 2007, serving as Chairman on the Finance and Audit Committee and a member on the Leadership Compensation Committee. He holds over 40 years of experience at AstenJohnson, a global manufacturer of paper machine clothing, advanced and filtration fabrics, filaments, paper machine equipment, and custom rebuild solutions. As President and CEO, Mr. Finn guided AstenJohnson into a global company with sales in over 50 countries and operations in North America, Western and Eastern Europe and China.

Mr. Finn is a recipient of the Innovation Medal from Philadelphia University, the Milliken Medal of Quality Award, and the United Way Community Builder Award.

Additional Board positions include Chairman at AstenJohnson, Vice Chairman of Trustees at Philadelphia University, Vice Chairman at Santee Cooper, and Executive Committee Member on the Board of Governors at the College of Charleston. He previously served on the Palmetto Business Forum, was Chairman at the Charleston Regional Development Authority, and was Chairman at the South Carolina Manufacturers Alliance.

Mr. Finn is a graduate of the President’s Program at Harvard Business School. He graduated with a B.S. in Textile Engineering from Philadelphia University, and a Masters in Textile Engineering from the Institute of Textile Technology.
