Wooster, Ohio – Seventeen of the nation's leading roofing contractors were named to the 2004 Topsider Council by Seaman Corporation, manufacturer of FiberTite® Roofing Systems and an industry leader in the development of high performance fabric technology.
This Council has been convened annually for the past 11 years and is held to recognize and engage some of the leading Roofing Systems contractors for the FiberTite roofing division of Seaman Corporation. As a member of the Council, contractors are also invited to take part in an advisory roundtable and give their input for the direction of Seaman Corporation’s roofing business. Over the years, the ideas generated by this roundtable have had a significant role in the future planning of the FiberTite team.
This year, the Council concluded that the most important focus needs to be on enhancing the partnerships that exist between the FiberTite team and the roofing contractors, particularly those on the Topsider Council. The group determined a critical need to work together to promote exemplary standards of performance for materials and workmanship in an industry dominated by commodity and mediocrity.
To be selected as a member of the TopSider Council, roofing contractors are evaluated against several criteria, including volume, a proven history of success, and a sincere dedication to quality driven results. The belief in total quality satisfaction is an integral part of the Seaman corporate vision.
According to Jerry Beall, FiberTite Sales and Technical Manager, a contractor can become a member of the FiberTite team by demonstrating “an obsession for product quality and customer service and a dedication to high integrity, honesty, total customer satisfaction and fairness in value”. The FiberTite team strives to establish long-lasting and mutually beneficial relationships with both customers and suppliers.
