WOOSTER, Ohio [December 9, 2015] – Seaman Corporation, a global leader in the development of coated fabric technology, is pleased to announce the promotion of John Crum from President and Chief Operating Officer to Chief Executive Officer and President, effective December 9, 2015.

Prior to being named President and COO in 2014, John served as Co-President, Executive Vice President, and Vice President of Operations in his 18 years of service. He has been an Officer of the company since 2001. 

After over 35 years serving as President and CEO, and the last five as CEO and Chairman, Richard Seaman will retire as CEO, but will remain in his role as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

On Thursday, June 25, at the annual gala at the Cleveland Convention Center, Seaman Corporation Chairman & CEO, Richard Seaman, won the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Award in the Family Business Category.

Richard Seaman, Chairman and CEO of Seaman Corporation, was recently featured in Textile World magazine in a detailed Q&A session about his contributions to the industrial fabric industry.

WOOSTER, Ohio, August 21, 2014 – Key government and business leaders were among the 240 who attended Seaman Corporation dedication ceremonies marking the completion of a 10-year, $50 million capital improvement program, capped with a $15 million investment over the past three years.

WOOSTER, Ohio– Seaman Corporation has announced the promotion of John Crum to the positions of President and Chief Operating Officer. An employee of the company for 16 years, he previously held the titles of Vice President of Operations, Executive Vice President and Co-President.

WOOSTER, Ohio–At a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by state and local government officials, as well as top officers the company, Seaman Corporation marked the completion of a $3 million capital investment project at the company's manufacturing facility in Bristol, Tennessee.

WOOSTER, Ohio –Crediting support from the State of Ohio and the City of Wooster, Seaman Corporation has announced plans for a $7.5 million capital investment program, which ultimately is expected to protect current employment levels and add more jobs in the near future.

Some respond by traveling to the disaster site. Most, however, look for the opportunities to send dollars. Our choices are few – the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army, our church's mission outreach. And while sending our check helps to fulfill our sense of responsibility, we have no way of actually knowing the direct impact our dollars have on the lives of those affected by the tragedy.
